A fantastic, small arena (seating about 7,600) with 2 levels. The arena has excellent sight lines and even better fans. This is a great venue for hockey that most definitely can get loud. One of my favorite hockey arenas, for sure.
The concourse is roomy enough for even the largest of crowds for easy navigation between periods and after the game. One negative, however, is that some of the seats in the corners are smaller than the others, for whatever reason. You can't go wrong by sitting in the upper level here. In fact, one of the benefits of sitting in some upper level sections is that you have access to the luxury box concession stands and bathrooms, both of which have much shorter lines than those downstairs.
Parking: Parking is the only negative at the Sovereign Bank Arena. Although it is cheap, $4, it is somewhat of a hassle. There are a number of lots surrounding the arena, however the immediate ones are for season ticket holders only. There are only 2 lots for the non-season ticket holder, one of which is across Rte 129 (4 lane highway, but has a stoplight) behind the old YMCA and the other is up Hamilton Street. I highly recommend the YMCA lot.
Camera policy: Although your bag will be searched, I have not had a problem here.
Food: The food in Trenton has gone downhill over the past couple of seasons, but it is still average. The beer is also excellent, especially at the microbrewery.
Arena rating: *** 1/2 * / Food rating: **
