Rochester Americans

American Hockey League

2005-06, 2006-07

Pelts was a part of the Amerks 50th anniversary season. Unfortunately it was a season that most Amerks fans and players would like to forget. The team was plagued with losing players due to injuries incurred by both parent clubs.

The Amerks wore a commemorative gold 50th anniversary jersey in the style of the Nashville Predators. This sharp looking jersey was worn in 2 games and each goaltender played in 1 game. There are a couple of puck marks on the sleeves of the jersey.

The white jersey worn this season also was dressed up for the 50th anniversary with gold stars.  Even though this jersey was slated to be worn for only the first half of the season, delays in the arrival of the second set resulted in the first set being worn for 3/4 of the season instead.  With that, the white jersey shows very good wear with puck marks on the front of the jersey and on the sleeves.  Both sleeves and the back hem have red pipe paint transfer on them as well.

The 2006-07 season started out pretty rough for Jean-Marc as he was the odd man out in Rochester. Because of their dual-affiliation with Buffalo and Florida, the Panthers could only assign 1 goaltender to Rochester. Even though Pelts had a very good training camp, he was still designated as their 4th goalie behind Craig Anderson.

Early in the season Anderson went down with an injury and Jean-Marc played in 4 games with Rochester. Thanks to the MeiGray AHL gameworn program I was able to get both of his Rochester jerseys.

The white jersey, despite only being worn in a couple of games shows good wear with a number of puck marks and pipe paint transfer on the back. There is also a small skate cut on the bottom front hem.

The red jersey was only worn in 1 game and has a couple of puck marks on it as well.
