This is a great place to watch a hockey game.  The Civic Center seats around 8,000, has one level and has excellent site lines.  In addition, you can view the ice surface from the concourse, so you don’t miss anything while going to the concession stands.  The concourse is spacious and is easily navigated in between periods.  

Parking:  Parking is relatively simple at the Civic Center.  There is a parking lot down the block that is free.

Camera policy:  I had no problem bringing my camera in the arena.

Food:  The food at the Civic Center was pretty good and the beer was very reasonably priced.

Restaurant Recommendation:  Davidson Brothers Restaurant & Brewery (184 Glen Street) is a very nice brewpub within minutes from the arena.  Both the Stout and Cheddar soup and Ale Simmered Chili are very good.  The Ale Battered Fish & Chips were good and so was the Brewers' Blackened Chicken.  I thoroughly enjoyed the Irish Red beer.
